Mr. Reints’ School Bus Rules

7.       Children do the craziest things at any time.  Load and unload safely

8.       Be cautious when your visibility is reduced

9.       Driving fast will only get you to your destination a few minutes earlier-if you get there at all

Mr. Reints' Note Tablet Rules

1.  Log onto network-no games, mute your computer

2.  Connect to Synchron Eyes

3.  Proceed to Mr. Reints' Homepage, or your class homepage and await further directions.

4.  Disconnect from Synchron Eyes before you leave.

5.  Place your tablet in its case when you leave.

6.  Tablets are a privilege-not a right

7.  Respect everyone's tablet 

1st offense-lose tablet privileges in class for 3 days

2nd offense-lose tablet privileges in class for 5 days

3rd offense-subject to loss of tablet privileges in class for nine weeks or semester-will be handled on a case by case basis

Discipline Plan

Needs:

1. Students should keep the classroom orderly in appearance. They should keep their classroom   materials neatly stored and arranged.

2. The classroom should have a set schedule that is flexible and provides for improvisation.

3. There should be smooth transitions between activities and when students enter and leave the classroom. This way there is no wasted time.

4. Students should give attention to all guest speakers. They shall also pay attention in class to all instructions given.

5. Students shall be quiet during class unless they are given permission to talk.

Likes:

1. Students need to respect each other if they want a successful classroom and healthy learning environment.

2. Both the teacher and students should show enthusiasm while in the classroom. This will promote the willingness to learn by both the teacher and student.

3. The teacher and students need to cooperate with each other.

4. A positive, relaxed classroom environment is important because it is very beneficial and conducive to learning.

Dislikes:

1. It is inappropriate for students to interrupt, distract or show inattention to speakers, teachers, and other class members. Horseplay is forbidden in the classroom or shop.

2. Students should not cause excessive noise while in the classroom.

3. Students should not abuse property of the school or property of a classmate.

4. Students should not verbally or physically abuse the teacher or other students.

5. Bad manners are inappropriate in the classroom.

Classroom Rules:

1. Students will be courteous to all others in the classroom. They will be helpful, speak kindly to others and will not bother others while others are working.

2. Students will do their best work. Students will do neat work that they are proud of. They will work efficiently at all times and hand all assignments in on time.

3. Students will not talk in the classroom unless they are given permission. They will use normal voices during classroom discussions, soft voices during group work and they will whisper if they need help.

4. Students will raise their hands to ask or answer question and to ask permission to go to the library or the bathroom.

5. Students will respect everyone's property. They will not damage property found in the classroom or in the school. They will give respect to the teacher and their classmates.

6.  Only juice or water allowed in the classroom!
