Assignment: You will compare and contrast the similarities and
differences of the Republican and Democratic parties.
Paper should be at least 3 pages long-typed, double spaced, ci 12, with a
cover page, outline, bibliography.
Getting
started:
1.
Go to the web sites for the Democratic and Republican parties at the
following URLs:
Democratic Party-www.democrats.org/
Republican Party-www.rnc.org/
*You may use any web sites that are related to this topic.
2.
Browse each site to learn the history of each party.
Also include the characters of the
donkey and elephant in your comparison and contrast of each party.
Include history of
the party’s, thoughts on political philosophy, party platforms, stands
on issues, etc.
3.
Include an outline of your paper before you begin.
*There
are a couple of ways to write a comparison and contrast paper.
After your intro you could compare both parties as one section and then
contrast each party in another section and finish with a conclusion.
The other method is to compare and contrast as you go along throughout
the paper beginning with an introduction and ending with a conclusion.
